Featuring two distortion modes and a separate boost circuit, this 2-in-1 pedal is amazingly versatile. offers an even wider gain range and boasts an improved signal-to-noise ratio. The gain is tight and smooththan resulting in very natural sounding, amp-like tones.
The classic British amplifiers that the Model M is based upon covered generations of different tones. So we have tried to emulate their notoriously saturated crunch and high-gain tones in one unit, with the mode switch allowing you to swap between these distinctive sounds.
But if you want even more tonal potency, engage the boost circuit to tighten up your sound and achieve more volume for solos! (Please note: Boost function only works when distortion is engaged, it does not work on its own).
When you hear about a pedal with two different gain modes as well as a boost function, maybe you'd assume that it would have a dozen complex controls. But we have ensured that the Model M is easy to use, relying on just a select few essential controls.
With its independent gain controls for each distortion mode, the single tone control acts as a master EQ for both, letting you introduce more presence if you're plugged into a dark-sounding amp.
